In order to make our school supplies more affordable and personalized to each classroom, HTE has decided to hold our own School Supply Sale in the fall. There will be two opportunities to purchase these items: Friday, August 12 1–5 p.m. at HTE Day or at our Open House on Monday, August 15 from 5-6 pm. We will have completed bags of supplies ready for purchase based on your student’s classroom teacher. All teachers have submitted their requests and items are being purchased at the best prices. We feel that this will save you both time and money! Therefore, there are NO order forms for school supply boxes this spring. If you decide that you would still like to purchase your own materials, supply lists will be available the same day that class assignments are available in August.
In order to make the Open House all about your students and their new classrooms and teachers, we are offering a time for parents to come in and complete a few tasks before the Open House! On Friday, August 12th from 1:00 – 5:00 pm, we will be open for parents to purchase their school supplies, pay school fees, talk to PTO about volunteering, and update Home Access. We are also working on being able to put money on lunch accounts and having our nurse here to discuss any needs. Students do not need to attend. The school will NOT be open for browsing and teachers will NOT be here. This is simply an optional time to get all the parent tasks done prior to school starting so that when you come to Open House, you can be with your child!
Monday, August 15 from 5– 6 p.m. You will be able to meet your new teacher, see your classroom, visit with your friends and purchase your school supplies at the Open House. 2016/2017 school fees may be paid at the Open House or online at Mypaymentsplus.
First day of school is Wednesday, August 17.
